To our ever so generous friends and sponsors,
As we prepare for another memorable day together in July I wanted to look back a year. The change of seasons is always a trigger for those experiencing loss. This time especially is hard for our family as we enter the 5th year of Johnny’s passing. Time is not slowing down, it keeps marching forward, the kids are growing and there is nothing I can do to stop it.
I can however be grateful and reflect on what I do have. I have two beautiful, funny, healthy, thriving children. Nora started her first year at South Boston Catholic Academy and she is astonishing me with her resilience and strength, much like I have surprised myself these past few months. Jack moved up to the preschool classroom at the Boys and Girls Club and he is (much to my dismay) leaving the baby stage and becoming a big kid. How did we get here? How are we surviving each day? It is in huge part, thanks to all of you! Not only for your tremendous financial support but your love and friendship.
The golf event is my fuel, it is what drives me to continue Johnny’s legacy for these kids. The presence, enthusiasm, love and excitement felt by all of you is what keeps us going. I hope it is an event you all look forward to and will continue to in the years to come! I thank you from the bottom of my heart for being a part of our team, the A Team!
Thank you all and be well.
Love,
Mollie Antonelli
From the annual PJT Memorial; to the old An Tan Tourney; 'getting the look' for Myrtle Beach; or winning the Bookworms Championship in front of his dad, uncles, and friends, Johnny Antonelli loved the camaraderie of a golf tournament! He was certainly smiling down on us these past few years.
